Ihr erster Workflow in 5 Minuten

You will build a minimal workflow: a manual trigger, a node that prepares a payload, then a Dolibarr or HTTP action depending on your instance. The goal is a first run in success status.

🚀 Steps

  1. Open Knot from the Dolibarr menu, then Workflows → Blank.

Empty Knot canvas with the connectors palette on the left
  2. Add a trigger from the palette: drag a Manual trigger node onto the canvas.

  3. Add an action node — e.g. Dolibarr → Send email or HTTP → GET — and connect it with an edge from the trigger output to the node input.

Edges use the canonical source / target format (not from / to except legacy import).

  4. Configure the node in the inspector (right panel): Form tab, required fields (test recipient @example.com, fictitious API URL, etc.).

  5. Save the workflow (Cmd+S or Save). Check Problems: no blocking errors (missing trigger, orphan edge).

  6. Test with Simulate: click Simulate, pick test data (manual JSON or stub), then read the timeline in the simulation panel. Dry-run does not write to Dolibarr.

  7. Activate the workflow when clean, then start a manual run from the toolbar or trigger. Open Executions for success or error.
